A SERIES of forums looking at future water supply options will be open to the public, Barwon Water said yesterday.
The water authority last week held the first in a series of forums encouraging debate and discussion about supplies in its region.
The authority's communication manager Luisa Munoz said community and business leaders were invited to attend the launch of the forums.
"The first forum was to kickstart the series and announce Barwon Water's leadership program Building for the Future," Ms Munoz said.

In my opinion, Melbourne’s water is undrinkable, unsuitable to bathe in and not safe for anyone. I have hypothyroidism caused by fluoride which affects 1 or 2 million people in Australia. This is the warning sign that our water is poisonous. Chemicals like fluoride and bromide (added to bread) displace iodine in the body rendering it ineffectual. It is little wonder most of the population is iodine deficient. It is also not surprising we suffer from autoimmune diseases and hormonal cancers at an early age.

Those promoting fluoridation simply refuse to read the current research showing it is ineffective and dangerous to health. Go to (www.fluoridealert.org) and read several articles. Read the letter from Dr. Hardy Limeback ( DDS, PhD Biochemistry) --- Head, Preventive Dentistry, University of Toronto entitled "Why I am now officially opposed to adding fluoride to drinking water" He was the principal research advisor to the Canadian Dental Asociation for over 10 years in promoting fluoridation. His letter is an apology to other dentists and the public. Over 140 Research studies listed, including:Increased risk of bone cancer -- 13 studiesLead, arsenic, radium contaminants causing toxic water -- 10Link with fluoride and cancer -- 12Fluoride causes birth defects -- 5Fluoride affects the immune systems -- 12Fluoride is neurotoxic (brain, nerves, lowering IQ) -- 11

Barwon Water forums = public consultation so they can then get on with the State governments agenda.Barwon Water = Government AgencyDHS = Government Agencyall accountable to State Government, all corporate entities =$$$Revenue.Lets all stop pretending that the forum is about the lack of water, when the water issue is about, How to make the most money from the community?First step was to medicate the community with fluoride, now the next step is to make water expensive. WARNING -Keep an eye on your water rates from here on.

What the hell difference will it make if the nabobs at Barwon Water hold public forums? They have been doing this for decades on the issue of fluoridation, They are only there to do the Government's bidding
