The importance of dental care in pets

............Halitosis is usually the reason guardians start to think about their pets’ teeth. However, even small amounts of tartar can be detrimental to the pet. Certain breeds seem to have increased issues with tartar build-up, such as a lot of small breed dogs. Brushing pet teeth may seem silly, but does tend to help slow down tartar accumulation. Begin when pets are young enough to be compliant. Do not ever use human toothpaste, as the fluoride it contains can be quite toxic and upsetting to the stomach if ingested...........
