FLUORIDE will not be added to the Sarina water supply.

That's the word from the Mackay Regional Council Mayor Greg Williamson, who said last month's council vote to cease fluoridation of the Mackay region's water supply will stand unless the motion is rescinded.

"There was no vote and there are no plans for a vote on resuming fluoridation in the Sarina supply, or in any of the region's public water supplies,” Cr Williamson said.
