Tooth decay risk doubles in children exposed to secondhand smoke


[Girl at dentist's]Exposure to secondhand smoke at 4 months of age is associated with an increased risk of tooth decay at age 3 years, concludes a study published in The BMJ today.

Maybe many smokers are from poorer families who seemingly do not give the care to their children in the way of making sure their children clean their teeth..
