USA - URMC Plans New Dental Institute

(Rochester, N.Y.) – The University of Rochester is expanding its dental services and treatment to help thousands more in the community.
On Tuesday , the URMC unveiled plans for a new dental institute, a division within Eastman Dental that includes more treatment rooms to the Sibley Building downtown by July and a new urgent care center on Elmwood Avenue in January 2010.
The new institute will include $8 million in research funding and 500 staff members already at the medical center.
The institute serves about 140,000 people a year.
