This has to be the most accurately targeted, cheapest and most morally acceptable method of preventative treatment for disadvantaged children from deprived areas.
Which would you prefer? Let the poor keep consuming high sugar foodstuffs which rot their teeth, leading to every type of illness later on in life, and be given an untested toxic cocktail of fluoride-based chemical waste products which have been proven to be neither safe, nor effective, and adversely affects disadvantaged children on poor diets, or the latter?
New York, which is heavily fluoridated has far worse dental health problems than a non-fluoridated neighbouring county. How can that be?
