................The voice of the people is also expected to be heard by the council tonight on the controversial fluoride issue. At least 100 residents will pack the chambers, trying to convince the council to support a push for a public vote on fluoride's introduction to the city's water supply.
Fluoride Action Group member Peter Sycopoulis called on aggrieved residents to join in the direct appeal. ``Concerned citizens wanting to voice their disapproval at the lack of democracy are urged to attend (tonight's) council meeting,'' he said.
