Imagine
our surprise the other today when we were exiting our front door and found this
robin nesting above our front door
The other Robin is the latest recruit to
our FAN staff. The
Team and Board of Directors at FAN are thrilled to announce that we have hired
Robin Lewis as our new part-time Environmental Justice director. Below is her
picture and short bio.
Robin is an Environmental Justice
activist, community organizer, public speaker, and local entrepreneur, assists
low income and communities of colors with legislative advocacy, collaborative
engagement, and outreach strategies to create sustainable and inclusive
solutions. She has worked as a Certified Project Management Professional for
many years, leading complex technical project launches as well as large
community engagement projects on environmental issues.
Robin has a BA in Economics and an
MBA from Rutgers University, as well as a MA in Sustainable Urban Planning
focusing on Climate Change from George Washington University. She spends her
time working to educate and engage communities of color, low income and other
marginalized communities to advocate against environmental injustices impacting
their health and wellbeing.
We think Robin will be a great addition
to our staff: she is personable, enthusiastic, highly experienced on EJ work and
determined to help us end fluoridation. Please join us in welcoming Robin to our
network. You can reach her at: robin@fluoridealert.org
