KEEP Fluoride put of OUR tap water says David Harrison
The fight to keep to keep fluoride out of tap water is as much about democracy as it is the health risks. Leading campaigners, like Liberal Democrat Councillor David Harrison, have been working with politicians of all parties to try and stop the plans.
A formal complaint has been lodged with the Health Ombudsman. The decision by the unelected Strategic Health Authority is also to be challenged through the law courts. In addition, Cllr. Harrison has conducted a media campaign aimed at getting the plans shelved whilst there is no majority public support.
Cllr. Harrison says "We are assured that the plans present no health risk, yet the company that will be adding this chemical to our drinking water will be Southern Water, the same outfit that polluted my local river and have just been fined £30,000."

Fluoride is a poison and adding it to our water will benefit no-one apart form the company selling the fluoride. It's just another measure meant to suppress us-have you read about the effects of fluoride..apathy is one of them.

I do agree with above comment, Apathy in this country,"" beggers belief"".If I walked up to you handed you a tablet and told you to take it with every mouthful of water you drank,would you agree to do it ? I have news for you ,that is what you do every day of your life and you then without a care do it to small baby's and children and the already health impared. Flouride production come mainly from the USA. The USA was the first country to put flouride in its drinking water. These huge corperates entered the UK in the late 1930's selling chemical based products. When the UK government was then persuaded either by the science and or the company to buy and add Flourides to our drinking water in the 70/80's,no one challenged the government on conflict of interest or the removal of our rights under the Law. I believe all people under the Law have a absolute right to the freedom of choice.
Without concent we are force fed daily toxins on forced prescription by our Government. Most of Europe do ""not"" have flouride in tap water . The Dutch and the Danish won in the courts to have Government plans curtailed and won. Other country's and regional Governments in Europe would not even intertain force feeding the population so called preventative medication, based on the information of big corperations or doctors that work for them.
The game is as always corperate gains,with no respect the individuals or the rule of Law on Human rights.
Sincerely I hope the British people will take some time out, to write to your local MP. At the very least consider the implications to your freedom of choice and the possible long term health problems apathy is causing. Everyone is so dam busy sorting through the rubbish, into local Government recycle bins for a better cleaner world !!! you all seem to forget the rubbish being pumped into every cell of your body every day of your life with no thought or consent given.

Mmmm Poison!!! I live in Alabama-U.S. and am fighting this for my city. Sent a comment to the White House for Michelle concerning her Obese children campaign. "fluoride-thyroid-obesity" and who knows what else. I looked a a chart showing the incidence of Prostate cancer. It was non-existent in the 40's, 50's....60's and is through the ceiling now. Wonder if the men in gov't that make the decisions on fluoride would consider this to be cause and effect...part of my sale since i am meeting with water system "male" executive about it in the next week- very exciting. Men become very sad when cancer of the prostate is mentioned in their presence. I am looking forward to it. avery2@knology.net
