PENDLE COUNCIL OPPOSITION TO FLUORIDE TO CONTINUE.
Following a presentation last night at Nelson Town Hall by Dr Ellis Friedland, Chief Medical Officer, followed by a reply from Brian Jackson Representing Friends of the Earth the committee after each member made submissions, decided unanimously to recommend to the full council that it should continue its 22 year long policy of opposition to Water Fluoridation.
Friends of the Earth consider this a victory for common sense and genuine scrutiny and congratulate Pendle Council on their resolve.
