IOM - MHK insists fluoride links are cut

MHK insists fluoride links are cut

Rushen MHK Quintin Gill says he wants the Department of Health and Social Security to cut its ties with a pro-fluoridation body.
In Tynwald next week, he’ll call for the DHSS to give up its corporate membership of the British Fluoridation Society.
He says despite the department giving up on a policy to put fluoride in our water, he’s worried the links to the BFS might mean the debate would flare up again in future.
Mr Gill (pictured) is calling on Health Minister Eddie Teare to stop spending £500 a year on the subscription:

Why is it that the BFS gets all this money out of the tax payer? Why does it exist, is there a British Arsenic Society, lead, etc?
