A few figures that might be useful: 12.5% of fluoridated populations need dental veneers to treat their fluorosis (York Review). Supposing the entire country was fluoridated, that comes to 7.5 Million people. Dental veneers start at £550 per tooth, and have to be replaced every 5-10 years. Dentists stand to be much busier after fluoridation than before - and most are private these days.
