Voters in Alaska’s capital said no to fluoride

Juneau voting. Voters in Alaska’s capital said no to the return of fluoride to city water, the Juneau Empire reports. The proposal went down soundly, with 61 percent of those voting saying they opposed it.
The Empire story called the issue “one of the most hotly contested and expensive ballot initiatives in the city's history.” The American Dental Association funded most of the pro-fluoridation’s $151,000 campaign, the story says
