Australia - Learn the truth about water fluoridation

At the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council meeting on April 19, 2020, Mayor Peta Pinson courageously attempted to correct a long-standing injustice by seeking support from her council colleagues to offer LGA residents a second democratic People's Poll on fluoridation.

The first Poll coincided with a council election in 1991 when 71% of residents said "NO" to fluoridation.

Port was fluoridated illegally in February, 2012, after much acrimony involving our 'home-grown' and last Council Administrator who initially agreed to a Poll that was quashed by NSW Health.

It has since emerged that water fluoridation has been illegal throughout Australia since the enactment of the federal Therapeutic Goods Act in 1989.

Professor Paul Connett, Ph.D. (chemistry), an expert in toxic incinerator and fluoride industrial waste products, will be visiting Australia and New Zealand in April. His Fluoride Action Network (FAN, USA) is leading a US Federal Court challenge against the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The focus of this challenge is on IQ impairment in children drinking fluoridated water.

Professor Connett meets with PMHC councillors in the afternoon of April 7, and will speak at a public seminar on April 7 at Westport Bowling Club, 25 Buller Street, assembling from 6.30pm.

An information session for the press and medical/dental/general health practitioners will also be offered on April 7 in the Port Macquarie-Hastings Library from 12.30pm-2pm.
