Canada - Fluoride and water fluoridation

In association with the 2019-2022 strategic priority Foster Healthy Citizens & Vibrant Spaces(External link), City Council is committed to ‘examining the feasibility of fluoridating the drinking water’ in Kingston.

The City of Kingston has not made a decision with respect to whether fluoride would be added to the community water supply, but rather is at the early stages of community engagement and completing a technical review of upgrades required to accommodate community water fluoridation. All findings will be reported to Council in March 2020 for consideration.
