"September 5th 2017 I publicly invited anyone to debate with me the science behind fluoridation. I made this offer at the Wairarapa 'Meet the Candidates' debate held at the Featherston RSA, and also on a local online Featherston group.
September 10th Ken Perrott took me up on my invitation.
September 21st we held the debate via online video conference.
Here it is. The idea was that we each chose a single study that we believed was significant in demonstrating either a risk or a benefit of fluoride as could relate to fluoridation. We then had the weekend to look at the study that the other had chosen. We talked for approximately 100 minutes. I edited about 15 minutes out. I did this in good faith to make the discussion more watchable without detracting from any of the points either of us made. Mostly 'ahs and ums', silent spaces, or parts we were misunderstanding what the other was saying." - Warren Preiss
