USA - Stop Putting Fluoride In Our Water Supply

Goal: Do not allow fluoride, a neurotoxin, to continue to be put into America’s water.

Fluoride is a toxic chemical, and in the United States it is added into the water supply. The Environmental Protection Agency has chosen to deny a citizens’ petition demanding the end of this practice in light of scientific evidence of the risks it poses to human health. The case may be brought to federal court, but that could be avoided if the EPA would put health before politics and reconsider.

The citizens’ petition that the EPA rejected was presented by a coalition of groups like the Fluoride Action Network, Food & Water Watch, American Academy of Environmental Medicine, and more. It included over 2,500 pages of scientific documentation of the health hazards of water fluoridation. American children currently ingest enough fluoride in their water for it to act as a neurotoxin. New studies suggest that fluoride can even suppress consciousness and the will to act. As the potential lawsuit against the EPA will argue, water flouridation presents an unreasonable risk under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
