I've had good news today.  In the Spanish Basque Country people are starting to fight against fluoridation.  They've had a wonderful piece of good luck.  No-one knew until recently which areas were fluoridated and which weren't.  The Water Company has now produced a report in which this mystery is solved.  In the past years, dental decay has reduced throughout fluoridated and non-fluoridated areas without anybody knowing who has been and who has not been fluoridated, so any attempt by Spanish Public Health officials to claim that fluoride has worked will be thoroughly rooted out.  This is almost as good as having a double-blinded research study.  Miracles do happen!
