USA BPT Leader Tile HomeNewsLocal News State health officer: Decisions about fluoride should be based on science
CLARKSBURG — The science supporting fluoridation of water as a safe, effective means of fighting tooth decay is clear, the state’s chief public health officer says. Dr. Rahul Gupta, commissioner of the state Bureau for Public Health, said fluoridated water is the standard of care for protecting the dental health of over 200 million Americans.
“By preventing tooth decay, community water fluoridation has been shown to save money, both for families and the health care system,” he added.
Gupta’s comments came in the wake of the Clarksburg Water Board’s decision to stop buying fluoride. Unless the water board reverses its decision, the public utility will cease fluoridating water once the current supply runs out..........................
His only mention of fluorosis, the staining of teeth is: "fluorosis — a cosmetic condition" Does he really believe it only affects teeth?

This man is, I believe, from the Indian sub continent and so he should know better! In India skeletal fluorosis impacts 25 MILLION people!!! He cites slogans and nonsense without references. I can only imagine this guy wants us to suffer as much as his old country does? Or is it more a case creating sick people for the future on which his and the rest of the medical profession depend to keep their earnings as high as possible?
