UK - Daily Echo letter
Let's all work to beat the scourge of leukaemia
I READ your article "vital steps to beat leukaemia" on December 28, about a "leukaemia busters" charity which is trying to prevent childhood leukaemia.
There should be more research and highlighting of the causes of this disease.
A friend of mine, researcher Edward
Priestley, survived bone marrow destruction caused by workplace toxic chemicals.
His research shows toxic chemicals, radiation and even certain medical drugs can cause leukaemia, aplastic anaemia and other serious ( blood diseases.
Benzene is a documented proven cause, but is widely used in industry!
Edward tries to avoid toxic chemicals such as fluoride, benzene, pesticides, solvents etc. Doctors did not think he would survive but, decades later, his blood count is normal.
He now spends his time helping sufferers voluntarily.
He has no magic bullet cure - just common sense information to give your body the best chance.
His website is: medicineandillness.com
Preventing the disease in the first place would save so much suffering.
