Paul: Clearly the HHS and CDC have chosen the soft way out of their predicament. Since they have always said that Dental Fluorosis is only a cosmetic effect, why then are they NOW so concerned that the Dental fluorosis is increasing in the children's population. It is obvious that they KNOW there are many ill effects occurring from TOTAL FLUORIDE INTAKE as we have been telling them for the last 35 years!
Since the European Union's courts have already agreed that F- is a medication and cannot be used in any product sent into the Union, and when the California EPA rules on the toxic , poisonous nature of F- in Feb. or March of 2011, the HHS and CDC will have to act again to remove the F-( ie. to reduce the dose further). How come they have not issued a report to the Pediatricians in this country to stop using Fluoridated vitamins for the infants and children in their practices?
In the meantime, the populations in F- areas will continue to have arthritis-like symptoms of F- poisoning
along with skeletal Fluorosis, osteosarcoma, and thyroid problems, just to name a few. I'm glad we were able to keep Long Island and many parts of NY state fluoride free. I look forward to the legal battles to finally rid this country of this poison and forcing the Phosphate and Aluminum companies to have to bury their own hazardous waste instead of making all of us be their Fluoride filters.
And these are the people to which we have entrusted our health care?
