Former deputy council leader Guy Harkin to stand in by-election
2:10pm Sunday 30th August 2009
A FORMER deputy leader of Bolton Council, who once suggested naming a street after Hitler, is to stand in the Crompton by-election.
Former Hulton councillor Guy Harkin, who lost his seat in the all-out elections of 2004, has been selected by the Labour party to contest the seat on October 1.
He has also been a supporter of water fluoridation and is a former director of the NHS North West Fluoridation Evaluation Group.
Hope the people opposed to fluoridation in Bolton take note.

Any MP who intends to dictate to the public and take away the freedom of choice under the law. Should have all party funding looked at very closely, The corperate giants in USA are the providers of flouride treatments via the tap water. They first established themselves into public water programs more than 50 years ago in the USA and then started in the UK in 1970/80s.
Forced fed prescribed medication without public consent that invades the entire body and organs,
is not a decision for MP's to make,Or any health organisation.
MP's obtain office and are paid to serve the public, not to dictate to them.
