BARWON Freedom from Fluoridation will launch a community ``mandate'' to stop fluoridation tonight at Skilled Stadium. The group is aiming to collect thousands of signatures, with full contact details, for its ``mandate'', which will be sent to the State Parliament.The ``mandate'' calls on the parliament to stop all fluoridation of any water supply within the Barwon Water District and to prohibit the implementation of the Health (Fluoridation) Act 1973 within the Barwon Water District by any entity.BAFF spokesman David McRae said the State Government did not have a mandate to introduce fluoride.He said the group used the term mandate because it was different to a petition. The people had sovereignty over the parliament and the politicians were meant to serve the people.The launch will be addressed by leading Adelaide dentist and a past Australian Dental Association president Dr Andrew Harms.BAFF said Dr Harms would speak on the scientific evidence for fluoride health damage, and the fraudulent way authorities claimed dental health benefits.The launch is at 7.30pm in the Fred Flanagan Room, Skilled Stadium.

Bravo to Dr Andrew Harms - a former dental association president who used to promote water fluoridation - for "coming out" and publicising the harmfulness of the practice.
May the force be with him to go on spreading the "Go(o)d" word!

Promoters of water fluoridation lie when they claim that fluoridated water does not increase the incidence of cancer and other illness.
I quote the US Attorney at Law Janie Evins: "In the early 1990's, with trials of 11, 14 and 40 days to allow for extensive expert witness testimony, courts in Illinois, Texas and Pennsylvania each came to the same conclusion: fluoride at one part per million in the water, a) aggravates existing illnesses, b) causes adverse health effects, and c) contributes to a significant increase in cancer deaths."
Attorney Evins wrote this in a legal letter dated 19/02/09 that she sent to the Oral Health Director of the Arkansas Department of Health, Dr Lynn Mouden who had made false claims about fluoridation in order to promote the practice.

Please turn to page 76 and read about the author who has received numerous medical awards and prizes.
Dr Spittle is the Managing Editor of "Fluoride" the official journal of the International Society for Fluoride Research and has meticulously referenced "Fluoride Fatigue" for the doubting Thomases who still think that fluoridation is safe for all.
