Canada - Lots of evidence against fluoridation

DEAR EDITOR:
This letter is in response to Ivor Davies’ November 28 letter entitled ‘Anti-fluoride movement nonsense; confusing people.’ The problem with Davies’ whole argument is the belief that our professionals and experts are right no matter what.
And saying that “the anti-fluoride groups seem, for some unknown reason, determined to traduce existing and growing known science, research and technology and replace it primarily with addled nonsense that unnecessarily confuses and alarms the general public” is further proof that Davies is replying on historical hearsay and not recent empirical evidence.
Is Davies saying that the growing legion of scientists who disagree with fluoridation are all addled and are misrepresenting the truth? Please, like I have asked everyone else who agrees with fluoridation, please show me the actual scientific study that proves it’s safe.
From what I have read, growing known science is gravitating away from fluoridation, as is almost all of Europe.
Milton — not the new pipe section — has never had fluoride, and from what I remember has no major differences between itself and all other fluoridated areas.
The Canadian Dental Association and the Centre for Disease Control (U. S.) have only ever said it’s safe and is one of the 20th century’s greatest achievements. All I want is proof, and not the same tag lines I’ve heard for years.
The “addled” scientists have given me reams of information to the contrary.
Please prove all the scientists wrong and I will accept this smoke stack scrubber waste of the phosphate fertilizer industry in my own water.
