USA - You don't vote? Don't complain

You don't vote? Don't complain

Are you tired of the ongoing fluoride debate in North Attleboro, one that's been going on for seven years now?
Do you want to see the substance, which leading health professionals say improves dental health, continue to be added to the public water supply? A vote for John Donohue for the board of health will likely end a lawsuit seeking to halt fluoridation.
Or do you want fluoride removed from North Attleboro's water, fearing potential health side effects? A vote for Diane Battistello will likely continue the lawsuit.
In either case, you can't complain if you stay home on Tuesday.
Voters in five area towns go to the polls over the next two days - Plainville, Rehoboth, Seekonk and Wrentham on Monday, North Attleboro on Tuesday.
More than likely, turnout will be about 20 percent or less in most area communities.

Better to have 20% I should have thought of citizens who have researched the fluoride debate rather than a large vote of those who haven't a clue.
