FLOURIDE IS NOTHING
TO SMILE ABOUT!
Fluoride Awareness Week celebrates your right to access news and information on fluoride- its sources, toxicity, and impact to your overall health and well-being. We have designated June 14 -21 as Fluoride Awareness Week to help fight water fluoridation and support efforts to end it!
While fluoride is added to water supplies throughout the US, research shows it may be creating more harm than good. Studies have shown that fluoride toxicity can potentially lead to serious health problems, affecting many areas of the body – including your bones, brain, thyroid, pineal gland, and even blood sugar levels. Fortunately, we have organizations like the Fluoride Action Network (FAN) who help fight to end water fluoridation worldwide.
This whole week, help us fight fluoridation. To benefit anti-fluoridation efforts we are donating a portion of sales up to $25,000 during Fluoride Awareness Week to Fluoride Action Network, a non-profit organization against fluoridation. Instead of sole reliance on misinformation gleaned from "FAN" and other such antifluoridationist sources, intelligent readers would be far better served by obtaining honest, accurate information on fluoridation from reliable, respected sources. The websites of the US CDC, the US EPA, the American Dental Association, the British Dental Association, the World Health Organization, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, each has a wealth of accurate, authoritative information on fluoridation readily available to anyone.
Now, let's see if the "UK Against Fluoridation" has the integrity to post this comment, or whether it, like most other antifluoridationist sites, must depend on censorship to promote its position.

I might have missed it of course, but I've never noticed "anti-fluoridationist" websites using any censorship. Quite the reverse!! But I do think it's a little cheeky of Steven D. Slott (DDS) to presume people like myself don't read the pro-fluoridation websites he quotes. Of course we do - and others like the British Fluoridation Society - and we find the evidence underwhelming and wanting, to say the least!

Chris, I did not quote any "pro-fluoridation websites". I provided websites from which intelligent readers can obtain accurate, authoritative information on the public health initiative of water fluoridation. That you obviously deem "information" from sites such as "FAN" to be more reliable than that from the sites I provided, speaks fully for itself.

Quotes? Cites? Semantics. Perhaps if you answered the question Bill put (which your cited, if not actually quoted, websites don't address)? You'll notice in the other comment I too have a questions which I have diligently addressed to the relevant authorities which as yet remain unanswered. Perhaps you could help there?

You are clearly, with respect, either very delusional, or very evil. Please get real, or stop doing governments dirty work. Fluoride is bad, bad news end of. Either wake up or stop being such an evil menace to society, whichever it is.

Alexis. Probably not fair to call our friend, Steven, evil. He is a Doctor of Dental Surgery, therefore possibly originating from either the United States or Canada - both countries whose water supplies are fluoridated to a higher percentage than the UK's 10%. Not his fault as to what his training involved regarding fluoride treatments - although I don't think he'd be told much about water fluoridation.
I would imagine he believes fluoride to be some sort of wonder substance (and - let's face it - it does do a pretty good job of poisoning the bacteria that cause tooth decay!). Reading this blog or F.A.N. probably gives him serious cognitive dissonance. He simply has no idea of the damage and disruption to the body caused by fluoride!
But it's good that he came here and gave his view because that shows a want to challenge and research. It's up to him if he needs to learn more and become a more ethical and natural dentist - and whether he can withstand the peer pressure and possible adverse reactions from his professional associations
