I would like to hear the voices of the Morton Bay Shire area and I am asking the following questions:
1. Do you want your WHOLE BODY to be medicated without your permission?
2. Do you want to drink S6 (extremely toxic) chemical waste product that is sourced from aluminium production and is so toxic to our environment that they are not allowed to dump this stuff in landfill, lakes, rivers or oceans’?
3. Do you want the Queensland Government to purchase this stuff from Belgium (where it is banned) at a huge 2000% mark up when there are thousands of tonnes of the stuff in WA that is polluting their environment?
4. Do you feel confident that your government is making the correct decision for you and your health when they have granted themselves indemnity from prosecution from fluoride poisoning claims?
5. Do you trust the Australian Dental Association to provide truthful information when they have received $200,000 from the Queensland Government to promote fluoridation AND they are sponsored by a toothpaste company.
6. Do you believe an unqualified (dental or medical) Health Minister when he states: “the fluoride that we are going to add to your drinking water for the good of your health is a natural substance and we are only topping it up to an optimal level”?
7. Do you believe the Governments claim that there will be more than a 40% reduction in tooth decay in the next five years?
8. Do you believe that the silicofluoride that they are adding to your water will help to reduce the likelihood of expensive and painful dental treatment?
9. Do you believe that “everyone’s dental health and benefit all ages, including babies, pregnant women and retirees?
10. If fluoride is so safe and so good for us, should the government be “up front” and tell us exactly when they started fluoridation, where they started and what date will we begin to get it through our taps?
11. We are told to purchase reverse osmosis filter if we don’t want to drink tap water. RO filters waste nearly 60% of the water that goes through them, is this a responsible thing to do when we are short of water?
12. Would you support the option of purchasing government produced fluoridated water in bottles? This will allow those that want it to get it from the chemist on the advice of their dentist in a “measured dose that is recommended for each individual”.

I am quite happy to receive other comments in addition to the specific answers to these questions. I will run this poll for four weeks – end 6th February. Please do not do repeats.
