USA - MI woman promotes home filter to reduce fluoride

NEW BALTIMORE, MI — One resident here is resolute in her position opposing fluoridation of publicly supplied water, and is offering advice on home water treatment devices that will remove fluoride from tap water, according to a June 4 article in The Voice.
Suzette Robinson, who lobbied City Council members prior to their recent unanimous vote to continue supplementing municipal water supplies with fluoride, said she relies on a $150 filter that removes about 40 percent to 60 percent of fluoride from her tap water, the article said.
Robinson, who said she is eager to share her research, said community members who want to remove even greater quantities of fluoride can use other methods of treatment, such as reverse osmosis, the article said.
