Fluoride view appalling

You state that your newspaper is the “Voice of Tooele County.” In the Nov. 15 issue you state the Utah law that requires voter approval to add fluoride to our drinking water is arbitrary and unnecessary. You then go on to suggest the law should be changed so the people do not have a say in what is put in their drinking water.

You do not sound like “the Voice of the County” to me, rather someone that doesn’t care what the majority of the people want, only what you think is best for them! The majority of the people in Tooele voted on two different occasions, the results clearly show they did not want fluoride in their drinking water.
Apparently you don’t understand or care that the majority of the people in Tooele City want their drinking water as pure as possible. Could that be why the law was enacted in the first place? The use of fluoride or not is not the issue with the majority of these people, if they want it they will brush with it, they just do not want it in their drinking water.
My point is democracy is the best way to run this city and I find it appalling that Tooele’s only news paper does not!
